The 1st ever "virtual" NFL Draft is now in the books, as all 32 league teams have high hopes their respective selections will make big impacts on their rosters for years to come.
For the Arizona Cardinals, the draft didn't end with the surprise selection of Isaiah Simmons with the 8th overall pick.
After the Red Birds picked up an offensive lineman in the 3rd round, they continued to addressed the defensive side of the ball in the 4th and 6th rounds; picking defensive tackles Leki Fotu out of Utah and Rashard Lawrence out of LSU, as well as linebacker Evan Weaver from Cal Berkely.
Another unexpected gift to land to the Cards was ASU running back Eno Benjamin in the 7th round, who many projected to be taken between the 3rd to 5th rounds.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers made an early splash with the selection of their next franchise quarterback; taking Oregon signal caller Justin Herbert.
Later in the draft, the Bolts addressed the offensive side of the ball with 3 of their final 4 picks; selecting 2 wide receivers and running back Joshua Kelley out of UCLA; in hopes of replacing outgoing Melvin Gordon.
The Los Angeles Rams attempted to make up for not picking in the early rounds, by taking a tight end and a safety in the 4th and 6th rounds.
The Rams made a novelty pick in the selection of Miami of Ohio placekicker Sam Sloman; who has impressed in his senior campaign.
After the Las Vegas Raiders took 3 wide receivers in the 1st 3 rounds, the Silver and black used their final 2 picks in the 4th round to address their need in the secondary with Louisiana Tech cornerback Amik Robertson and the offensive line with Clemson's John Simpson.
