College basketball: AWC men’s basketball getting rhythm back

Rhythm and flow, two words that perfectly describe the Arizona Western Matadors men's basketball team Wednesday night.

Riding on a one-game winning streak before Wednesday night's contest against the Eastern Arizona Monsters, the Mats had not seen a win at home consecutively since December 11.

Mats, however, bounced back this week with a win on Saturday against Glendale at home and with another on Wednesday, 88-60, against Eastern Arizona. They next face Scottsdale on Saturday on the road.
