Raiders boys soccer beats arch rivals!

Cibola secures 3-1 victory over Gila Ridge

Maximiliano Garcia celebrates after scoring his 2nd goal of the contest.

An early season rivalry match was an opportunity for both Gila Ridge and Cibola's boys soccer programs to see how they could respond to the adversity this kind of match-up can bring.

For the most part, the Raiders would come out looking stronger.

Thanks to 2 goals by Maximiliano Garcia and another goal by Isaac Hernandez, the Raiders would defeat their arch rivals by a 3-1 result.

Garcia would also have an assist, along with Jesus Canes.

Even though the Hawks didn't have a lot of answers to the Raiders on this chilly Tuesday night, Anthony Lara scored the lone goal for Gila Ridge.
