Evangeline Lilly, ‘Ant-Man’ and ‘Lost’ actress, says she has brain damage

(CNN, KYMA) - Evangeline Lilly says she's suffering from brain damage after the actress fainted and hit her head on a rock at a beach several months ago.

She was diagnosed with a concussion at that time, and now, the 46-year-old says scans have shown almost every area of her brain is functioning at a decreased capacity.

Her "Ant-Man" franchise co-star Michelle Pfeiffer made a supportive comment on her Instagram post, saying, "You are a warrior. Nothing-not even this will defeat you my friend."

So did Rebecca Mader, who starred in the TV show "Lost" with her, with Mader saying, "Sending you all my love and a massive hug."

Lilly said she's getting ready to start the hard work of recovery after enjoying a restful Christmas.
