Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You” ties an all-time record

(NBC, KYMA) - Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is back at the top of the charts and has now tied an all-time record.

The holiday favorite, released more than 30 years ago, has spent a total of 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

This ties the record set by Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.

Billboard said "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was streamed more than 33 million times and its radio airplay jumped 37% compared to the week before.

This is the seventh straight Christmas season that the tune hit number one.
