NBC and Peacock to air 78th Emmy Awards next year

(NBC, KYMA) - The 2026 Emmys are officially on the books as the 78th Emmy Awards will air live coast-to-coast on NBC and Peacock Monday, September 14, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

The show will be broadcast from the Peacock Theater in L.A., and will also coincide with NBC's 100th anniversary.

Overall, NBC has earned more Emmy awards than any other television network in history.

At last year's 77th ceremony, NBCUniversal scored 20 Emmy awards, including 12 for "Saturday Night Live: and five for the Alan Cumming-hosted unscripted competition series "The Traitors."
