Flowers placed on Diane Ladd’s star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Flowers were placed Tuesday in Hollywood for legendary actress Diane Ladd, whose death was announced Monday.

A wreath was placed on her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ladd's screen career spanned more than six decades. She received an Oscar nomination for her work in "Rambling Rose," which co-starred her daughter, Laura Dern. They became the first mother-daughter duo nominated for Oscars in the same year.

Ladd was 89-years-old.
