Naomi Watts receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
LOS ANGELES (KYMA, NBC) - Actress Naomi Watts is being honored with the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.
According to a press release, Watts is receiving the star, located at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard, in the Motion Pictures category.
Steve Nissen, President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, served as the ceremony's emcee, with Edward Norton and Ryan Murphy serving as guest speakers.
Also in attendance were Watts' co-stars, like Sarah Paulson, Jack Black and Kyle MacLachlan, and her family.
"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actress Naomi Watts to the Hollywood Walk of Fame," stated Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer. "Naomi has brought unforgettable depth and grace to the screen, and we honor her remarkable career and her contributions to film which have left a lasting impact, inspiring audiences and artists around the world."
Watts has starred in films like "Mulholland Drive," "The Impossible," "Birdman," "The Ring," "King Kong," and "Tank Girl."
She has also starred in television shows such as "Feud: Capote vs. The Swans," "Twin Peaks: The Return," and is starring and executive producing the upcoming Hulu drama series, "All's Fair."
