The Academy Awards to be presented March 27

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - The Academy Awards are happening once again soon and some movies may have a better chance of earning an award than others.

Movies in the spotlight to earning the Critics' Choice Award are 'The Power of the Dog' and 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye.'

'The Power of the Dog' won Britains' Bafta Award for Best Film and Best Director.

Disney's 'Encanto' also won an award for animated film from Bafta while 'The Mitchells Vs. the Machine' took best-animated film from the Animated Film Society.
