A shooting in Fort Worth, Texas leaves 2 dead

FORT WORTH, TX. (NBC, KYMA) - An overnight shooting left 2 people dead and 2 others injured in north Texas.

Police responded to a Fort Worth residence just after 3:30 a.m. where a large backyard gathering was taking place. Officials said a fight had broken out between a man and woman.

When another man tried to intervene firearms were produced and shots fired. A total of four people were shot.

Official said two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

An investigation is ongoing.
