Tracking nice temperatures, but it’s staying humid

Weather Authority/ KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Friday! I am still tracking humid conditions, and for the next 48 hours, dew points will stay elevated. It will be a warm and humid evening ahead.

Monsoonal moisture will still be sticking around, but significant rainfall will favor further east. We will just stay warm and muggy this weekend with a slight chance for isolated showers and storms, maybe popping up.

This weekend on our futuretrack hour-by-hour, I am tracking some lingering clouds, with slight chances of an isolated shower or storm that may develop.

The greatest chance to see any storm development will be Sunday.

This weekend will be pretty seasonable with humid conditions. If you are going to be spending time outdoors this weekend, remember to practice heat safety as the humidity will make it feel hotter. Sunday is also National Ice Cream Day, so cool off by having your favorite ice cream.

Tracking multiple chances for showers come next week, along with hotter temperatures.
