Tracking a nice close to May, but a warm start for June

Heading into the last weekend of May, we are in for lots of sunshine and mild temperatures. Tracking a warm-up as we get ready to start the month of June. Get ready for some triple-digits.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Happy Friday! It's been a beautiful day with calmer winds and cool temperatures.

For this evening, winds will pick up a little bit, with wind gusts between 20-25 MPH. Nothing too overly gusty; it will still be a great Friday night ahead.

Temperatures are going to be super enjoyable and comfortable. Get outside, hang out on the patio, or just be outside.

A lower-pressure system that brought in the cool temperatures will soon be on its way out, which will lead to warmer-than-normal temperatures next week.

Take a look at our temperature outlook for next week; we are going to be trending above-average. Get ready for a warm-up!

Going into the weekend temperatures will stay cooler than normal through Saturday. We will also have lots of sunshine, lots of sunshine and dry conditions. Great weekend ahead for the final weekend for May. Don't forget it will be a full Moon on Sunday!

Triple-digits will arrive Sunday with even warmer temperatures as we kick off June.
