Jury selection underway in retrial of Yuma man accused in October 2024 shooting

YUMA,Ariz.(KYMA)-Jury selection is now underway in the retrial of the Yuma man accused of shooting a man in a local neighborhood.

Today, 25-year-old Gabriel Taddei was back in court after the last jury could not come to a unanimous verdict.

Taddei is accused of shooting the 29-year-old victim back in October of 2024. He was offered a plea deal but rejected it.

Taddei will face the same charges of aggravated assault.
