Mexicali man arrested after stabbing dog to death on camera

MEXICALI, Mexico (KYMA) - A man in Mexicali was caught on camera after stabbing a dog to death  video showed the man had become upset with the dog after she knocked over his trash

The dog, named Honey, was four years old and had eight puppies.

The man was detained, but animal rights advocates are demanding that this case does not go unpunished.

“he is a danger to the community; he is a psychopath. This person, without a shred of remorse, ended with the life of honey,today it was her, tomorrow it could be a child.we are tired of animal cruelty," said Isabel Rubio, an animal rights activist.

The puppies were placed under the care of the Animal Control Department in Mexicali.
