Tracking warming temperatures through the midweek

Above-normal temperatures will be common through pretty much all of this week as a ridge of high pressure staying in place for now. Tracking a strong weather system to bring in changes later this week and into the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- A ridge of high pressure is bringing in toastier temperatures for the next couple of days trending our temperatures 15-20 degrees above normal for the region.

Happy Taco Tuesday! It will be a clear and calm evening with warm but mild temperatures. It will be nice to dine in or outdoors for some tacos this evening.

Warm and dry weather will continue through the workweek, but a strong lower-pressure system will be off toward the west, which is expected to move in late this week and into the weekend.

Tracking cooler temperatures, stronger winds, and possible rain chances by the end of the week/weekend.

Temperatures will warm to the upper 90s by the middle of the week, and will continue to cool through the week, leading to more seasonable temperatures for the weekend.

We are also in for some clouds and breezier conditions toward the end of the week, with increasing rain chances for Saturday.

Speaking of rain chances, we have a 20-30% chance of showers for the weekend. There's still uncertainties with how much we can get, but I will bring more details as we get closer to the weekend.
