Tracking warming and record temperatures

Temperatures are going to continue to warm up a little bit more, where highs will climb to the mid and upper 90s later this week. Also, watching for daily record-breaking temperatures.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- The 90s continues again today! It is a few degrees warmer than yesterday.

This warm weather we do have minor heat risks, so make sure to stay hydrated and take shade breaks if you are going to be outdoors for a long period of time.

Unseasonably strong ridge of high pressure over the Desert Southwest will result in abnormally warm conditions for this time of year, as afternoon highs will approach 15-20 degrees above-normal.

Tracking slightly warmer temperatures this weekend with highs climbing to the upper  90s. There’s also multiple daily record highs being likely tied or broken through the weekend.

Get ready! We have a double event Tuesday March 3rd. It will be a Full Moon AND we will also see the Total Lunar Eclipse as well. This is when the moon will appear red.
