Tracking a warm close to January and a warm start to February

Heading into the weekend, I am tracking highs warming into the 80s as we get ready to wrap up the month and say hello to February. Tracking more warmth to carry into next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Happy Friday! It's the final Friday of January! Today has been a warm and sunny day.

Now, as we head into the evening, we will have cooler temperatures, clear skies, and light winds.

Yet again, it has been breezy at times, and it will continue for the weekend. Expect to have breezy conditions during the afternoon hours with gusts between 15-20 MPH through the weekend.

A ridge of high pressure will be in place this weekend keeping our weather dry with above-normal temperatures.

To start off the month of February, I am actually tracking springlike temperatures even through we are still in the winter season. We will see a few extra clouds with highs in the 80s. Heads up! It will be a full moon on Sunday, February 1st. This moon is also called the Snow Moon.
