Arizona announces new committee focusing on artificial intelligence

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Arizona announced a new committee that focuses on artificial intelligence.
According to the pew research, over 60% of United States adults say they interact with A.I. several times a week.
One goal of the House committee on artificial intelligence and innovation is to create a place where experts, industry leaders and members of the public can discuss this technology.
“To educate the state and the body as a whole, to understand where artificial intelligence is best used and best practices, how technology can be done for the good and to ensure bad actors are held accountable,” said Rep. Junelle Cavero (D) Arizona District 11.
The committee held their first lunch and learn on Wednesday to understand how the state government currently uses A.I.
