WASHINGTON (KYMA) - President Trump is meeting with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado to talk about the future of Venezuela.

President Trump met with Machado in the White House on Thursday, saying relations are warming with Venezuela's acting president Delcy Rodriguez.

"She's a terrific person. I mean, she's somebody that we've worked with very well," said President Trump.

However, Machado said Rodriguez can't be trusted.

"She was sanctioned by the United States government because of the corruption and all the involvement she has in criminal activities," said Machado.
