NBC News obtains photos showing Nicolas Maduro being escorted by the DEA
NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (NBC, KYMA) - New photos show Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro being escorted by DEA agents in New York Saturday night.
A source familiar with the transport confirmed the authenticity of these photos to NBC News.
NBC News also obtained the images with the included blurring. They show Maduro at Stewart Airport in New Windsor, New York.
Previously, NBC News reported Maduro was seen walking off a jet at around 5:25 p.m. Maduro's wife, Cilia Flores, was also photographed at the scene.
The couple was captured at their home in Caracas and face numerous criminal charges in New York.
A Southern District of New York spokesman told NBC News their hearing could take place as early as Monday.
