Tracking warm weather sticking around all week

Weather Authority/ KYMA

Well-above-normal temperatures continue for the Desert Southwest, with highs staying in the upper 70s and low 80s. We may see a pattern change for Christmas week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- It was another warm day with temperatures trending similar to what we have been experiencing since last week.

It may be warmer than normal, it's still pretty pleasant.

A ridge of high pressure continues to dominate the region, keeping the Desert Southwest warm, sunny, and dry for the next several days.

Evenings still will be pretty chilly, and we can expect temperatures to cool down to the low 50s by Wednesday morning.

Our temperature outlook is still showing well above-average for the next 6-10 days, so really no big changes in the days ahead.

Daytime highs will remain consistent as highs will be in the 80s through the workweek, with slightly cooler temperatures for the final weekend before Christmas.

We are 5 days until it officially becomes the winter season, and I am tracking cooler, but still above-normal temperatures to kick off the season. However, we may see more changes by Christmas time.
