President Trump proposes $12 billion federal aid package for US farmers

(KYMA/ CBS) - Iowa farmers may receive a $12 billion federal aid package as they face financial struggles.

The White House has not released full details on what the package includes other than financial aid.

Money is expected roll out as a one-time payment starting in February and will go towards row crop farmers in Iowa.

However, it's unknown how much each farmer will receive and how the decision will be made, according to CBS.
