Tracking cool and comfortable weather for the rest of the week

Temperatures will continue to stay nice and cool for now. We do have a bigger warm-up next week, where we could have daytime highs reaching the 80s.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - It's been another nice and cool afternoon.

Going into our evening, we will have clear skies and light winds. Don't forget the Full Cold Moon will appear in our skies TONIGHT!

Moonrise is around 4:14 p.m. Arizona Time. If you are going to do any stargazing tonight, it will be pretty chilly, so make sure to dress warm.

Take a look at some of the photos sent in from our KYMA viewers of the Full Cold Moon.

We will continue to have calm and dry weather for the next several days as a lower pressure system moves more east.

Get ready! Our temperature outlook is showing dark red and maroon colors over the Desert Southwest come next week, so that means we can expect well above-normal temperatures in the near future.

Lots of sunshine and great temperatures will persist through the weekend and into early next week. We do have a lot of fun events and holiday activities this weekend, take a look at our events page to see what is going on this weekend.

Daytime highs will warm near or at 80 degrees by next Wednesday. That is unseasonable for early December.
