Tracking another warming trend

Temperatures will be warming back to the low 90s by the end of the weekend and early next week. Tracking warm temperatures and some clouds for Veterans' Day.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Friday! It was another warm and mild afternoon, but the evening will be even better.

We have cooler and more comfortable conditions this evening. Overnight lows will dip down into the upper 50s by Saturday morning.

Dry and warm weather will prevail through the middle of next week for the Desert Southwest. A ridge of high pressure will take over the region, bringing another warming trend into early next week with highs warming to the 90s and near record levels.

It will be a sunny and dry weekend with highs returning back to the low 90s into early next week. These type of temperatures are warmer than normal, and some days will be near and pretty close to record territory. Monday and Tuesday is looking the closest to record high temperatures.

Tracking some clouds by Tuesday with even bigger changes late next week. We will have cooler temperatures and possible moisture by late next week and next weekend.

LOOKING AHEAD: With the high moisture creating an atmospheric river in the Pacific Northwest, a lower pressure system may bring us some above-normal rainfall by the middle of the month.

This is still too far out and still has lots of uncertainties, but I will keep tracking and bring more updates.
