Tracking a warm start to the week, with cooler days ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Now that Halloween and the month of October are behind us, the holiday countdown continues.

Take a look how many days we are away from the upcoming holidays.

It's not feeling like November as our afternoons are above average with highs in the low 90s yet again.

Afternoons may be toasty, but evenings are still great and pleasant. We are in for a calm and cool night ahead.

Dry and warm weather will persist again this week for the Desert Southwest as a ridge of high pressure continues to stay in place.

Tracking another sunny and dry week ahead with high temperatures still being a little warmer than normal, but at least we will get a break from the 90s.

Don't forget the Full Beaver Moon will peak in our skies on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:19 a.m. in Yuma, so that is 5:19 a.m. in Imperial Valley. This full moon will also be a supermoon, which means it will be the biggest and brightest moon of the year.
