Onvida Health hosts 13th annual Bridget’s Gift at Cocopah Casino
SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA) - Onvida Health is set to host one of Yuma County's most anticipated annual events this weekend: the 13th Annual Bridget's Gift Western Dance and Barbecue.
The celebration, scheduled for Saturday evening, brings together music, food, and community spirit in support of a vital local cause.
This year's lineup includes performances by several local musicians and bands, with multi-platinum recording artist Chris Young headlining the event.
Attendees can look forward to a night of entertainment while contributing to a mission that directly impacts Yuma County residents.
Tickets are priced at $100, with all proceeds benefiting individuals battling breast cancer. The funds raised help cover essential living expenses such as housing and food.
"The need is there, and there's not a lot of resources for what we provide," said Wendy McKay, a Bridget's Gift board member. "We provide assistance if it's mortgages or rent, food on the table—just bills in general."
The event will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Cocopah Casino Event Lawn. Tickets and additional information are available here. The event is free for ages four and under.
