Tracking a little warm-up for the weekend

Temperatures will warm-up a little bit later this week and through the weekend, but it will still be slightly cooler or near average levels.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - We have been a little breezy this afternoon, but we have calmer winds for tonight and the rest of the week.

Temperatures will continue to cool down through the night, it's getting to that time of year where you may want to bring a light sweater or jacket if you're going to be out and about.

Overnight lows will dip down into the low 60s and upper 50s for Friday morning.

As a lower-pressure system shifts a little off toward the east, it will allow our temperatures to warm up just a little bit for our weekend.

We are in for lots of sunshine, dry conditions, and overall quiet weather through the weekend. Temperatures will warm into the mid and upper 80s, but still going to be cooler than normal.

The Fall Fest for Yuma County kicks off Friday and will go on through the weekend, and I am tracking wonderful and pleasant weather.
