Tracking drier conditions with seasonable temps this week

After a stormy day in Saturday, we are in for a drier and sunny week ahead with seasonable temperatures to wrap up the month of September and to start off October.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV) - On Saturday, September 27, we had some severe storms and significant rainfall in parts of the Desert Southwest.

Here's the latest rain totals from Saturday. You can get an idea where those big storms were because some areas got way over an inch of rain. In Yuma, a TRACE amount was recorded, which is too small to measure.

Also, the SpaceX launch was seen in our skies across the Desert Southwest yesterday evening. Take a look at this photo and view of the SpaceX moving across the sky in the Foothills.

Happy Monday! We are much drier than what we felt over the weekend. We are still a little humid, but we will become drier as the day goes on with clear skies.

Temperatures are going to be nice and cool, it's definitely finally starting to feel like fall around here. It's also National Coffee Day, so get yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy the evening on the patio.

I am tracking a dry and quiet weather pattern this week and will continue through the rest of the week.

Lots of sunshine and comfortable conditions are taking over this week, keeping fall-like weather sticking with us to end the month of September and start the month of October.

Temperatures will be up and down this week with highs in the mid and upper 90s, which is seasonable for this time of year. Overnight lows will be nice and cool with lows in the low 70s and mid to upper 60s all week.
