Third Mexicali city official has visa revoked
MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY/T3) - A city official's visa was revoked, according to a statement posted on social media.
Luis Guerrero is a state government official and the husband of Mexicali Mayor Norma Alicia Bustamante.
Guerrero attempted to cross into the United States on August 8, but was denied.
Mexicali Mayor made a statement through social media saying, "Regarding the information regarding the immigration status of my husband, Luis Guerrero, we clarify that he was interviewed for review at the Mexicali border crossing. After asking a series of questions, the authorities withheld his visa without any reason or prior notice. This only affects him in his border crossing situation."

Last May, Governor Marina del Pilar and her husband, city official Carlos Torres, confirmed their visas were revoked as well.
No reason was given at the time of this writing for why Guerrero's visa was withheld.
