Comic-Con 2025 kicks off in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KYMA, KECY) - One of the most anticipated events in San Diego is finally here!

There were long lines Thursday morning as eager fans waited to get into Comic-Con.

Thousands of people for all over the world attended the first day of Comic-Con 2025.

Fans love going to Comic-Con to see their favorite characters and many say the best part is dressing up as them.

"It’s amazing...the different costumes that everybody wears. We just saw Colonel Sanders, which just blows our mind. People's imagination and what they dress up as and come here and their personalities," said one attendee.

Comic-con will be in San Diego all weekend.
