President Trump orders Attorney General to release testimony in Epstein case
WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY/CBS) - President Donald Trump ordered the release of grand jury testimony in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
A Wall Street Journal article alleges President Trump wrote Epstein a letter containing suggestive writing, according to CBS.
Trump calls this case a fake story and asked his Attorney General to unseal grand jury transcripts.
"It's all been a big hoax. It's perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net," said President Trump.
The Wall Street Journal alleged Trump wrote a birthday letter to Epstein in 2003 with a sketch of a naked woman and an ending that read, "Happy birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret."
Trump called the letter fake and is threatening to sue the outlet's owner, Rupert Murdoch.
