Staying humid with possible isolated showers through midweek

Humidity will linger for now with isolated storms still possible. Later this week we will have a warming and drying trend that will take over.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - There are slight and small chances for isolated showers and storms to pop up within the area today and tomorrow.

Humidity will also continue as I am tracking elevated dew points in the 50s and 60s through at least Wednesday.

Starting Thursday we will begin to really dry things out and it will be feeling more comfortable.

With our next drying trend will come with a big warm-up. Get ready for a round of above-normal heat on the way!

There's plenty of sunshine that will be with us this week, but temperatures will gradually heat up.

Daytime highs will warm into the low and mid 100s this weekend and near the 110 mark by next week.
