Temperatures are warming up throughout the week

We are in for a pretty calm and dry week ahead. Our temperatures will be warming up each day, leading to another unseasonable temperatures with highs in the triple-digits as early as Tuesday.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As an area of low pressure works its way through the Desert Southwest we will be slightly cooler than normal and a little breezy for today.

Heading into the evening, we will have winds 10-15 MPH, clear, with warm temperatures.

A ridge of high pressure will begin to build, which will lead to above-normal temperatures throughout the week.

A significant warming trend is expected throughout the work week, with highs reaching 102-107 degrees across the Desert Southwest mid to late week.

These temperatures will result in a widespread Moderate Heat Risk will be from Wednesday to Friday before heading into Memorial Day weekend.
