Slightly above-normal temperatures for now with cooler and breezier days on the way

Sunny skies and dry conditions will continue all week! Tracking slightly above normal temperatures for the next few days with a cooldown and breezier conditions on the way.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Happy Earth Day! Today has been a sunny and warm day with light winds, but heading into the evening weather conditions will stay calm with cooler temperatures.

Looking ahead: A dry weather system will move off the Eastern Pacific later this week, bringing breezy to locally windy conditions along with a cooldown.

Breezier conditions are expected Wednesday evening in Imperial County with gusts between 20-25 MPH.

Tracking even stronger winds again on Friday and through the weekend.

Temperatures will stay pretty consistent through Thursday with highs staying in the 90s or upper 80s.

We will have even cooler conditions and breezier conditions starting Friday and through the weekend.
