Tracking a warm and quiet week ahead

This week we are in for calm and dry weather with temperatures slightly above normal through the middle of the week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - This afternoon we had highs in the 90s, so a little warmer than where we should be for this time of year.

Heading into the evening it will be warm, but cooler, so still nice to spend time on the patio and enjoy the outdoors.

Dry and quiet conditions will prevail over the next several days with no major changes to our daily temperatures.

Don't forget tomorrow is Earth Day, so if you will be spending time outdoors it will be a warm and sunny day as highs will trend just a few degrees above normal.

Temperatures will trend in the low 90s through Wednesday with more seasonable conditions joining in later this week.

An area of low pressure is projected to begin moving in the western United States later this week, which will likely result in a cooldown and perhaps some breezy conditions for the Desert Southwest.
