Tracking cooler temperatures and some winds this week

The week is starting off cloudy with warm temperatures. Throughout the week I am tracking cooler and breezier conditions by the midweek.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We have cloudy skies and a little extra moisture coming with those clouds Monday. However, this moisture may or may not even make it to the ground, but you may encounter a light sprinkle.

Temperatures will remain above normal through the middle of the week, with quiet conditions.

Tracking a weather system will then move over the region by the latter half of the week into next weekend leading to much cooler temperatures and stronger winds.

Breezier and stronger westerly winds will move into the Imperial County area by Wednesday with gusts 30-35 MPH.

We will have mostly clear skies throughout the week, with temperatures cooling down below normal later this week. Finally, by Thursday, we will have more comfortable temps with highs in the upper 70s.

For Easter weekend and Sunday, we will have nice weather with calm winds, lots of sunshine, and seasonable temperatures.
