Tracking breezy and cool temperatures before another warm-up moves in
It will still be breezy and windy through the evening with calmer conditions for the rest of the week. Temperatures will stay cooler than normal through Friday before a warming trend begins this weekend.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It was still a breezy and occasionally windy day early this morning and afternoon. Still had wind gusts near or over 40 MPH today. Take a look at our wind recap from today.

Breezy and windy conditions will continue through tonight with gusts 25-35 MPH. Stronger winds and possible dust will favor in Imperial County.

It's day 2 for the Yuma County Fair, if you are heading out this evening it will stay breezy with chilly temperatures, so make sure to wear a sweater or jacket as it will get cooler later in the night.

Current lower pressure system will still keep our temperatures cooler than normal with small chances for scattered and light showers through Friday.

Get ready! A big warm-up will be making a return next week with temperatures well above-normal.
Our temperature outlook is showing dark red and maroon once again, so prepare for unseasonable temperatures on the way for next week.

Temperatures will trend in the 70s and below normal for the rest of the workweek with lots of sunshine remaining in the forecast.
I am tracking a gradual warming trend starting this weekend, which will boost our daytime highs back to the 90s by next week and even warmer by Wednesday and Thursday.
