Level 3 sex offender notification: Marcus Morgan
WELLTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) has issued a notification regarding a Level 3 sex offender in the Wellton area.
YCSO says 34-year-old Marcus Morgan told them he was living in the area of Pacific Avenue, near Camino Del Sol Drive.
Morgan, according to YCSO, is five-feet, nine-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes, and is not wanted by YCSO at this time.
YCSO says Morgan pled guilty back in April of 2016 to one count of rape in the second degree in the Wagoner County Court in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He was placed on probation with a suspended license of five years, and the victim was a young girl who knew him.
Last July, YCSO says Morgan pled guilty to one count of failure to register as a sex offender in the Yuma County Superior Court, and he is currently on intensive probation for three years with the Yuma County Adult Probation.
Morgan is considered a Level 3 sex offender and has a high risk to reoffend, according to YCSO.
