Calexico Fire Department to receive $45,000 grant from T-Mobile

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A local fire department has been selected to receive a grant to support their station.

T-Mobile has selected the Calexico Fire Department to received a $45,000 grant to help improve its fire engines with fire hoses and nozzle system.

“Our fire department would like to thank T-Mobile for giving the City of Calexico an opportunity to better serve and protect our city. The T-Mobile Hometown Grants team was professional, enthusiastic and displayed a genuine passion for helping community projects across the country,” said Joshua Paddock, a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Calexico.

T-Mobile will be presenting the check on March 25 at 430 E. 5th St. in Calexico.
