YCSO offering vacation home watch services

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Volunteers for the Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) will be able to provide home security checks.

Since many winter visitors will be traveling for the summer, YCSO says volunteers can help protect homes while homeowners are away.

If a home will be unoccupied for over 30 days, homeowners can submit a form found on YCSO's website, and can be submitted in person, by mail or email.

If dropping off the form in-person, it can be at the following locations:

  • YCSO Main Office: 141 S. 3rd Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364 Tel: (928) 783-6274
  • YCSO Foothills Office: 13190 E. South Frontage Road, Yuma, AZ 85367 Tel: (928) 342-1477

However, applicants can submit the form via U.S. Mail or email:

  • U.S. Mail: Yuma County Sheriff's Office, 13190 E. South Frontage Road, Yuma, AZ 85367
  • Email: Nataly.Hunter@ycso.yumacountyaz.gov

Registration must be renewed every year.
