Tracking warmer and drier conditions for the final weekend of winter

There is some shower potential, breezy conditions, and chilly temps again today. Thankfully for the weekend we have a warming and drying trend moving in.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Another weak weather system will bring additional chances for showers and breezy conditions through possibly early Saturday morning.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 5 a.m. Saturday for the southwest corner of Imperial County due to strong southwest winds with gusts up to 55 mph.

Through the weekend and into the start of next week, drier and warmer conditions will take over across the Desert Southwest bringing a beautiful and enjoyable weekend ahead.

In fact on our temperature outlook we are actually going to be warming to our seasonal averages, which will be fantastic.

Temperatures will warm to the 80s for St. Patrick's Day with additional clouds. Another weather system is expected to move through the region early next week, and will lead to breezy conditions and cooler temperatures.

Then temperatures will warm back nicely with clearer skies to welcome the first day of spring on Thursday.
