Two brothers arrested for smuggling seven migrants in Nogales

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Two brothers were arrested for attempting to smuggle seven migrants in Nogales, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

On March 1, Nogales agents stopped a Ford Fusion on Ruby Road, west of Nogales.

During their inspection, agents determined seven passengers in the car were illegally in the United States. The passengers were all Mexican nationals, including four adult women, two men, and a juvenile.

The driver and front passenger of the Ford Fusion were brothers from Nogales, and were arrested for human smuggling.
