Temperatures are warming to the 90s this week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - A ridge of high pressure will dominate the region this week keeping us dry, sunny, and temperatures well above average.

Afternoon temperatures will trend of 10 to near 20 degrees above normal this week as highs will climb to the 90s by Tuesday through Wednesday.

A more active weather pattern is expected later this week and into this weekend with more clouds, temperatures cooling back down, low chances for rain, and breezier conditions.

It is going to be pretty warm for late February and even though we have minor heat risks don't forget the importance of heat safety and still make sure to take precautions.
