Las Vegas Aces hold championship parade on the Strip

LAS VEGAS, Neva. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - The Las Vegas Aces celebrated their second consecutive WNBA title Monday after beating New York Liberty last week.

Hundreds of fans turned out to get a glimpse of the champions, making their way down the famous Las Vegas Strip while riding on buses, waving and dancing along the way to Toshiba Plaza to show off their shiny new championship trophy.

The Aces are the first team in 21 years to win back-to-back WNBA championships.

The team joins the Los Angeles Sparks and the Houston Comets as the only teams in league history to win consecutive titles.
