Boy shot near Kennedy Memorial Park in Yuma
Officers responded to the area Saturday morning and are still looking for the suspect
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to a report of shots fired near Kennedy Memorial Park early Saturday around 3 a.m.
YPD says the investigation revealed that a boy was shot while he was in the area of the park. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Authorities say there is no suspect information at the time. This is still an active investigation.
YPD encourages anyone with any information about this case to please call the department or 78-crime to remain anonymous.
