Calmer today but colder across the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - A recent storm system cleared out here in the Desert Southwest bringing our Tuesday full of sunshine and clearer skies with chillier temperatures.

A Freeze Warning is issued for Midnight tonight until 9 a.m. (MST) for portions of Yuma county.

Colder temperatures will approach tomorrow morning and our low temperatures will be in the low and upper 30s across the area.

Area frost will be likely across the Desert Southwest, so make sure to take action and prepare for the colder temperatures.

Make sure to keep your pets indoors, cover your plants and wrap and check on your pipes to prevent freezing.

For the next few days, below-normal temperatures and mainly dry conditions are likely into next week.
