Yuma police respond to car shooting near 1st Street, one pronounced dead
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA/KECY) - The Yuma Police Department received a call about shots being fired at a vehicle.
On Sunday, July 17, 2022, at around 2:50 a.m., a tan GMC Yukon and its four occupants were traveling in the area of 1st Street and 15th Avenue when a dark-colored pick-up truck shot several rounds at the Yukon.
The Yukon stopped on Avenue A to call for assistance as one of its passengers had been struck by the gunfire.
The 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
