Three undocumented immigrants rescued in Jacumba wilderness, one in need of medical help

OCOTILLO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - US Customs and Border Protection says agents rescued three undocumented immigrants in the Jacumba Wilderness.

At about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, El Centro Sector Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) were told about a small group of people in need of help.

Three people were found and one was in heat distress, needing medical treatment.

A military helicopter helped carry the person to a local hospital.
