City of San Luis complete 4th Avenue improvement project

City of San Luis

Project reaches completion after three months

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - On June 23, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the reopening of 4th Avenue in San Luis.

The road on Union St. to County 22nd St. had several improvements including adding bike lanes, sidewalks and center turn lanes.

The City of San Luis says this project cost about $225,000 and began on March 15, 2022.

“I am proud of the hard work and dedication the City of San Luis City Council and staff have put into the improvements of our community for our residents,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “Supporting roadway improvement projects such as this one increases the quality of life for our residents and adds more value, especially on heavily trafficked areas such as 4th Avenue."
