UPDATE: Two-year-old pronounced dead after drowning incident

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department says a minor died after drowning in the Pecan Grove area.

On June 11, police responded to a call about a drowning and the minor was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center then Phoenix Hospital.

In a press release, police stated the two-year-old boy was pronounced dead on Monday afternoon.
